My Story

   I'm Ksenija, a certified personal trainer and nutritionist with a passion for fitness and a deep commitment to helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. But my journey to becoming a fitness professional is deeply rooted in personal experience.

   My path in the world of health and fitness has been a diverse and inspiring one. From a young age, I was immersed in the world of sports. I started my athletic journey at the age of four, where I professionally danced in the competitive world of dance-sport for nine years. My love for movement also led me to explore swimming and even rock climbing, which enriched my understanding of the human body's capabilities.

   However, my most transformative passion emerged in my teenage years—fitness. It all began with a personal struggle, a battle against the shadows of fad diets that promised quick fixes but left me in a downward spiral. This dangerous journey ultimately led to anorexia and depression, and a staggering weight loss, with me standing at just 42 kg while being a quite tall girl. I was severely underweight, physically weak, and, most importantly, unhappy with myself.

   But life has a way of leading us toward the light. Through unwavering determination and resilience, I fought my way back to a place of health, both physically and mentally. I regained not only the weight I had lost but also my confidence and, more importantly, my will to live. The gym and fitness became my sanctuary, my path to recovery, and my source of strength.

  This personal transformation instilled in me a profound understanding of the struggles many individuals face when it comes to health, fitness, and self-esteem. It fueled my desire to help others in their own journeys, providing them with the guidance, knowledge, and support they need to move from struggle to strength.

   I know what it takes to embark on this transformative journey, because I've walked that path—from the depths of despair to the heights of self-assured strength. Today, I am not only a certified fitness professional but also a student at Riga Stradins University, where I am furthering my education as a Health Sports Specialist.

My Transformation

Education: building expertise for your success

I believe in the power of knowledge and its ability to transform lives. My journey in the field of health and fitness has been marked by a dedication to continuous learning and self-improvement. Here's a glimpse into my educational background:

1. Certified Personal Trainer: I hold a certification from the International Sports Sciences Association (USA), a globally recognized institution in the fitness industry. This qualification equips me with the expertise to design tailored training programs that align with your unique goals and needs.

2. Sports Nutritionist: In addition to my personal training certification, I am also a certified nutritionist (ISSA, USA). My knowledge of nutrition allows me to provide holistic guidance, helping you make informed dietary choices to support your fitness journey.

3. Health Sports Specialist: Learning never stops, and I'm committed to staying at the forefront of industry trends. Currently, I'm pursuing my second education in Health Sports at Riga Stradins University. This academic pursuit not only expands my knowledge but also ensures I can offer you for your health and fitness goals.

4.  Pilates and Functional Training: To further enhance my understanding of fitness and health, I'm currently also deepening my knowledge in Pilates and Functional Training. This additional training equips me with even more tools to support your health and fitness aspirations effectively.

5. Evidence-Based Learning: It's worth mentioning that I believe in the importance of evidence-based learning through reading studies and reliable sources. This ensures that the advice and guidance I provide are founded on credible information.
